I care a lot about making sure creators get credit. BestFreeTemplates is a curated catalogue of Mac software — I write short pages and notes about programs, but I don’t host the files myself. If you believe your work has been shared here in a way that infringes your copyright, I want to sort it out quickly and fairly.
How to file a notice
Please send your request to [email protected]. To help me act without back‑and‑forth delays, include everything below. I can only review notices that are complete.
- The exact page address (URL) on bestfreetemplates.org where the material appears.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you say has been used without permission.
- Your name, email address, and enough contact detail for me to reach you if I need to.
- A statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens after a valid notice
Once I receive a complete notice, I’ll review it and remove or disable access to the page promptly. I usually reply within a few working days — sometimes sooner, depending on volume. Because every comment here is moderated anyway, I’m used to keeping things tidy.
Counter‑notices
If you believe a page was taken down by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter‑notice to the same address. Tell me what was removed, where it was, and why you think it shouldn’t have been. Include your contact details and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. Once I receive a valid counter‑notice, I’ll forward it to the original complainant and may restore the page after a reasonable wait.
A note about what we host
BestFreeTemplates doesn’t store software files. The site holds short catalogue pages, install notes, and compatibility details — an at‑a‑glance guide for designers and Mac users. If you’re unsure whether something crosses a line, just email. I’d rather have the conversation and keep the catalogue a happy place for everyone.
