Download Black Rooster Audio The ALL Bundle for macOS
The ALL Bundle is a single collection of Black Rooster Audio mixing tools, built to sit across a session from individual tracks to the master bus.
- Tracks: Grab a channel strip or compressor for shaping a vocal or tightening a snare. The real-time SPICE-type circuit simulation gives you the push and pull of classic hardware without leaving the box.
- Buses: Glue a drum group or add width to synth layers with a bus compressor or EQ. The low-latency linear-phase Dolph-Chebyshev polyphase design keeps aliasing artefacts quiet, even when you push into saturation.
- Master: Finish a mix with subtle polish. The modelling draws on vintage studio gear character but stays clean enough for modern digital precision.
Across all of those jobs, the bundle runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel 64-bit Macs, with VST3 and AU formats ready for major DAWs. Version 3.0.0 locked in that VST3 support, so it slots into an up-to-date session without fuss.
A few snags and how to sort them
The bundle installs cleanly for most setups, but a couple of things can trip you up. Here are the ones worth knowing.
- Plugins not showing up in your DAW. After dragging in the components, a rescan is sometimes not enough. Quit the DAW completely, reopen it, and let it rebuild the plugin cache. Logic Pro users often need to restart the whole Mac after a fresh AU install.
- High CPU on older Intel machines. The SPICE-level modelling is hungry. If a session starts crackling, freeze or bounce tracks that use the heavier compressors — KH-COMP1 and VLA-FET are the usual suspects. Dropping the session sample rate from 96 kHz to 48 kHz also gives you back a chunk of headroom.
- Latency when tracking through the strip plugins. VPRE-73 and the channel strips add a small processing delay. Switch to low-latency monitoring in your DAW or bypass the plugin while recording, then re-engage it for playback.
Taming a flat narration with THE CANARY
Imagine a dialogue editor cleaning up narration for a documentary. The voice track is well recorded but feels flat and a little sibilant. They drop THE CANARY on the insert slot, pull down the presence band by a couple of decibels, and the harsh edge softens without dulling the consonants that matter. Then they push 10 kHz up slightly with VEQ-5 — a gentle air lift that keeps the voice natural. To catch the occasional louder phrase, VLA-2A sits last in the chain, compressing just enough that the level sits steady against the background music. No automation needed. One pass, three plugins, and the narration carries through a quiet living-room scene without the listener reaching for the volume knob.
Who fits this bundle best
Mixing engineers who move fast across genres tend to live in this collection. The palette covers tracking, bus work and mastering without forcing you into a single console sound. If you already know what an LA-2A or a Pultec-style EQ does to a source, you will find the same muscle memory here, only inside your Mac.
Home-studio producers running an Apple Silicon machine also get a lot from the bundle. The native ARM support keeps the fan quiet, and having everything in one package means less time auditioning separate compressor demos. Mastering engineers lean on the cleaner tools — KH-EQ1 for surgical cuts and KH-COMP1 for transparent levelling — while still having the colour pieces when a track calls for it.
If you only mix your own songs once a month, the bundle might be more than you need. But for anyone bouncing between tracking, editing and final polish week after week, it covers the ground without switching plugin families mid-session.

Quiet in here so far. If you have used this build, tell me what the install actually did.
